3. General Information on Data Processing

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. The collection and processing of personal data is carried out solely in accordance with applicable data protection laws, particularly the GDPR, the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and the Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG).

Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. We process personal data only as necessary for providing our services, fulfilling contracts, safeguarding legitimate interests, or complying with legal obligations.

4. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

1. a) When visiting our website
   When you access our websites bluehabits.ai and www.bluehabits.app , the following data is automatically collected (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, name and URL of the retrieved file, referring website, browser type and version, operating system. This data is technically required to ensure the proper functioning of the website.
   
   b) When using our app (“BlueHabits”)
   To use the AI-based app, personal data such as registration data, usage data, and behavioral analysis data are processed. These data are required to provide app functionality and personalized recommendations.
   
   c) When contacting us
   If you contact us via email or contact form, we store your details (name, email address, message) to process your request.
   
   d) Data processing for analytics and optimization
   We use privacy-compliant analytics tools (e.g., Matomo) to understand and improve how our services are used.
   
   e) Cookies and similar technologies
   Our website uses cookies. You can adjust your cookie settings at any time via the consent banner.

5. Processing of data by third parties and data processors

We engage carefully selected service providers for hosting, app operation, analytics, and communication. Data processing agreements have been concluded with these providers in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Data transfers to non-EU countries only occur where an adequate level of protection exists (Art. 45 GDPR) or suitable safeguards are in place (Art. 46 GDPR).

6. Storage and deletion of personal data

Personal data will be deleted once the purpose of storage no longer applies or statutory retention periods expire. If consent has been given, we store the data until consent is withdrawn.

7. Your rights as a data subject

You have the right to request information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21).

We use technical and organizational measures (TLS encryption, access restrictions, pseudonymization) to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized access. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy to reflect legal or technical developments. The current version is always available at www.bluehabits.ai/privacy.
